Traditional agriculture produces many unusual objects, one of which is the bubu fish trap. The elongated shape is like a creature that lives in the irrigation ditches of the rice fields. The bubu is made of bamboo and its function is to trap bait, through a shuttle system where a fish can enter but cannot get out.
