Bali has always been a favorite honeymoon destination to feel swept away with your loved ones. No matter where you’re from, the Island of the Gods is full of good energy for you and your loved one to feel enlightened and loved.

This year, the day of love falls on a promising time for the Balinese, known as Sugihan Bali.

Sugihan comes from the Sanskrit language and means ‘purify.’ On this particular day, the Balinese cleanse the earth and themselves. The day occurs right before the sacred Galungan ceremony, the biggest Hindu ceremony on the island. In a way, Sugihan Bali is the chance to purify before welcoming the Gods. It happens once every Balinese year, which lasts around six months.

This Valentine’s day, we invite you to be blessed and blissed on our romantic Sugihan dinner. Komaneka’s unique hospitality is inspired by the Gods, so our guests feel exceptional with unique culinary choices and the most heartfelt of service.

The blessed Sugihan dinner will be held by the Keramas Coast in our very own Timur Kitchen. A 5-course set dinner combining fresh local ingredients done in an inspiring way accompanied by sparkling wine and tropical cocktails. While dining, a solo guitar performance is married into the soft ripples of Keramas coast in our open-air space.

I hear the waves; they’re calling for you and your loved ones. Book your dinner with reservations now, it’s never too late.
